To kick off the series, we asked young alum and current GRA Gary Doan a few questions about what he’s been up to since graduating from DU. Between managing his own studies, being a GRA, and publishing a paper in TKA Journal, Gary is constantly learning how to improve the quality of life of patients who need total knee arthroplasty (TKA).

Associate Professor, Dan Pittman, PhD, began teaching the Computer Forensics class this Winter Quarter in the Ritchie School of Engineering & Computer Science. Wanting to bring industry knowledge into the classroom using his experience from thirteen years in the software industry, Pittman has been able to restructure the class to include more real-life examples and projects.
Ritchie School PhD candidate Boris Peñaloza recently got accepted to present a research poster at the Annual Meeting of the Vision Sciences Society (VSS) taking place May 21-26. This is a prestigious acceptance into a national science conference, as it is extremely competitive in getting invited to present.
