A day of innovation, research and excellence!

Blog  •

Graduate Research Day has quickly become one of the most cherished traditions at the University of Denver – Ritchie School of Engineering and Computer Science. It offers a dynamic space for students to share their work, connect with their peers and faculty, and demonstrate the range of innovation happening across our community.

This year’s event was no exception – it brought together a diverse range of research projects, represented by a new cohort of future STEM leaders across our graduate programs. From innovative ideas to meaningful conversations and bold research projects– the Graduate Research Day was nothing short of inspiring. The judges also awarded Best in Category awards to a handful of presentations that stood out for their incredible work. Please join us in congratulating the winners:

Undergraduate (B.S.) Category

  • Best in Category: Alisha Pravasi
  • Runner-up: Denver Persinger

Master’s (M.S.) Category

  • Best in Category: Janamejay Sharma
  • Runner-up: Maisey Toczek

Doctoral (Ph.D.) Category

  • Best in Category: Yousra Shleibik
  • Runner-up: Nidhi Madabhushi

Thank you to all the student presenters for the time and care they put towards their work. Thank you to the organizers and judges who made the day possible – our staff member Meredith Corley and our faculty members Chris GauthierDickey, Kerstin Haring, Alex Stevens, Rinku Dewri, Stephen Hutt, and Sean Connin. And lastly, a special thank you to Dr. Haring for supervising all three of ‘Best in Category’ presentations – an exceptional way to close out the year and begin a well-earned sabbatical.

Congratulations to all our students and future tech leaders! Thank you for all your work.
