Artificial Intelligence and data science are predicted to affect the most fundamental changes to the world’s economy since the steam engine. The Ritchie School is growing our faculty to build core capability for a new University-wide initiative around AI for the Public Good. This initiative focuses on critical policy, ethical, legal and business issues in addition to basic algorithmic, machine learning, data science, and computer vision AI and data science work. Research is conducted in a range of specific application areas, all geared towards leading us to the future of work and Industry 4.0.
Dr. Sean Connin is a Teaching Professor and the Director for Data Science Graduate Programs in the Department of Computer Science at the Ritchie School of Engineering and Computer Science.
