At the Ritchie School of Engineering and Computer Science, we prepare our innovators and researchers through our coursework, our departments, and our opportunities for cutting edge research as an R1 institution.
We have three departments for technological advancement: Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, and Mechanical & Materials Engineering. With over 25 undergraduate and graduate degrees offered in areas of study like Mechanical Engineering, Game Development, and Computer Engineering, students follow their passions and expand their knowledge.
We are also home to Knoebel Institute for Healthy Aging (KIHA), an interdisciplinary initiative that brings together the key strengths from the University and the region to address aging related research, wellness, and community building nationwide.
The true mark of student success doesn’t rest solely on what they accomplish while at the Ritchie School. A real measure of our programs is where our students go upon graduating. Our graduates have gone on to companies like Amazon, Lockheed Martin, Google, and Facebook or they continue their academic journeys in our professional degree programs.
