David Lankitus

What I do
David Lankitus joined the University of Denver as a Grants Administrator for the Ritchie School of Engineering and Computer Science in December 2024. He provides pre-award assistance to faculty, helping them develop strong proposal submissions by lifting administrative burden, updating budgets and justifications, managing required documents, and working as a liaison with sponsored programs. He is also responsible for some award-phase and post-award administrative tasks.
David previously worked as a Grant Writer for the University of Missouri's College of Food, Agriculture, and Natural Resources. He has an MS in Horticulture & Crop Science from The Ohio State University and a BA in Biochemistry, Chemistry, and Biology from Capital University. David is an avid honey wine (mead) homebrewer and spends his time studying new techniques for producing wine, sake, cider, and beer.
