Joint ECE and MME Mission
The joint mission of the Departments of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) and Mechanical and Materials Engineering (MME) at the undergraduate level is:
- to offer programs that support and complement the mission of the University of Denver;
- to provide a general undergraduate education in mechanical, computer and electrical engineering that prepare students for employment or graduate study;
- to include interdisciplinary engineering work in all programs;
- to encourage the professional development of the faculty, and
- to foster the professional awareness of the students.
Strategic Plan
The School is at the forefront of inquiry and discovery to address societal goals locally, nationally and internationally. Faculty are dedicated to collaborative, inclusive discovery and knowledge creation. They work across disciplines within the school and around the DU campus while partnering with industry, government, and universities across globe.
