Kimon Valavanis, ECE Chair, Keynote Speaker at UAV-g 2015 Conference
Kimon Valavanis, John Evans Professor and Chair, ECE, opens the UAV-g 2015: sUAS: A Disruptive Technology for Geomatics conference with his keynote on “Challenges in Unmanned Aircraft Systems: Autonomy, Sense-Detect-and-Avoid and Formation Control.”
The aim of the UAV-g 2015: sUAS: A Disruptive Technology for Geomatics conference is to bring together experts in photogrammetry and remote sensing, surveying, robotic mapping, computer vision, artificial intelligence, aerospace engineering, geosciences and various users’ communities. The conference will be attended by researchers, developers, service and systems providers as well as end-users and practitioners. The conference spans a three day period, August 31 – September 2, including demos.
